Holiday Performances in Hampton Roads

The Holidays are a wonderful time to spend with family and friends and what better way to get into the Holiday spirit then with a live performance.  From music to ballet to classic Dickens, we have a list for you of performances in every city. 




Where: Chesapeake Conference Center 700 Conference Center Drive, Chesapeake 23320
When: Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. 
What: The bold sounds of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra brass section will help you ring in the holidays in a bright new way! With a variety of styles from classical to contemporary, you'll delight in the sounds of the season.
Cost: Free and open to the public.



Where: The Grey Goose, 118 Old Hampton Ln, Hampton, Virginia 23669
When: December 8-9, 15-16, 2018. Satudays at 5pm & 7:30pm. Sundays from 4-6pm 
What: Our tribute to the famous radio show "Prarie Home Companion" The Grey Goose is producing our version "A Hampton Home Companion" featuring local musicians Dana Clark Epstein, Holly Kirstin and Tammy Gandolfo in this acoustic musical spectacular! Perfect for your family and friends or even your office party! This event features a three course dinner and musical entertainment, fun for the whole family!
Cost: 3-course dinner and show for $40. Reservations required.  

Newport News


Where: Ferguson Center for the Arts, 1 Avenue of the Arts, Newport News VA
When: Monday, November 26, 2018 at 7:30pm. 
What: Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis, now in its 31st year, is still met by sold-out audiences and was one of the top 20 concert tours in the nation last year. This year, Mannheim Steamroller’s two touring ensembles will hold over 90 performances throughout the United States. The shows will feature the favorite Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller along with state-of-the-art multimedia effects in an intimate setting.

It’s an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special. Don’t miss this wonderful holiday tradition that speaks to the misfit in all of us. Based on the animated television special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and the stage production directed and conceived by Jeff Frank and First Stage. Script adaptation by Robert Penola.
