New Shopping Center Planned at Hampton Roads Crossing in Suffolk

Kroger LogoIn addition to the new Kroger Marketplace currently underway at Hampton Roads Crossing, a new shopping center will be added as well off North Suffolk’s College Drive.

The approximately 100,000-square-foot shopping center would be slightly similar to Harbour View East, located in close proximity to the Hampton Roads Crossing community. A list of tenants and a delivery date may be announced this summer.

Still being the early stages of development, a name for the new shopping center has yet to be decided, but whatever name is selected would include “Hampton Roads Crossing.”

The company’s Mid Atlantic real estate manager, Fenton Childers, said Kroger selected North Suffolk’s College Drive for its new store “because of the exciting growth in that area.”
